Jimi Agbaje is the PDP governorship candidate in Lagos state and he says he has no godfather.
One of his criticisms against his APC counterpart, Akin Ambode, is that Ambode is backed by ‘godfathers’ like Bola Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola, and would have no other option than to do their bidding.
A group, Movement for Great Lagos, is however trying to puncture Agbaje’s claims by associating him strongly with PDP leader in the state, Bode George, whose support was vital for Agbaje’s victory at the primaries. They are claiming that he, alomgside former works minister, Adesewe Ogunlewe, are Agbaje’s godfathers.
